Yevgeny Alexeyevich Lalenkov is a Russian former long track speed skater who participated in international competitions. He won a silver medal at 1000m at the 2008 single-distance World Championships

The 2003 World Allround Speed Skating Championships were held in Ruddalens IP in Gothenburg, Sweden, on 8–9 February 2003. Canadian Cindy Klassen and Dutchman Gianni Romme became the world champions.
