Zhang Yuqi, also known as Kitty Zhang, is a Chinese actress best known for portraying Mrs. Yuen in the 2008 film CJ7 — which brought her media attention and kick-started her acting career, and Ruo Lan in the 2016 film The Mermaid.

The Mermaid is a 2016 Chinese-Hong Kong romantic comedy fantasy film directed, co-written and produced by Stephen Chow, which stars Lin Yun, Deng Chao, Zhang Yuqi and Show Lo. The film tells the story of a playboy businessman who falls in love with a mermaid sent to assassinate him.
