Zhukovsky is a city in Moscow Oblast, Russia, located on the Moskva River, 40 kilometers (25 mi) southeast of Moscow. Population: 104,736 (2010 Russian census); 101,328 (2002 Census); 100,609 (1989 Soviet census).

Moscow Oblast is a federal subject of Russia. With a population of 8,524,665 living in an area of 44,300 square kilometers (17,100 sq mi), it is one of the most densely populated regions in the country and is the second most populous federal subject.
