Anang Desai is an Indian film and television actor. Desai has appeared in more than 100 television shows and 70 films popularly known for his portrayal of the character Babuji in the television series Khichdi and its eponymous film. He is an alumnus of the National School of Drama, New Delhi and was a part of the institute's professional repertory, performing Hindi theatre extensively before starting his career in the television and film domains.

Aashiqui (transl. Romance) is a 1990 Indian Hindi musical romantic drama film and first installment of Aashiqui series directed by Mahesh Bhatt, starring Rahul Roy, Anu Aggarwal and Deepak Tijori in pivotal roles. The film was known for its music, by composer duo Nadeem–Shravan establishing their careers along with that of singer Kumar Sanu and music label T-Series.
