Toscafund Asset Management

Toscafund Asset Management is a London based investment firm, a major investor in Circle Health LtdIt has assets of £4 billion. The Chief Executive is ex Tiger Management employee, Martin Hughes, according to The Times, the Rottweiler. Dr Savvas P Savouri is a partner in the firm, it was involved in a long argument with Speedy Hire, where it is a major investor, attempting to replace the chairman, Jan Astrand, who it accuses of “egregious corporate governance failings”. In September 2017, Toscafund Asset Management launched 300 million euro private equity fund that focus on small and mid-sized companies. In December 2019, Toscafund purchased 12% of Ted Baker following the decline in the companies share price. In January 2020, Toscafund announced that it owned 11.70% of the Stobart Group, this was subsequently increased to 18.8%

Faith Hope & Charity (British band)

Faith Hope & Charity was a short lived British group that featured Dani Behr, Sally Ann Marsh and Diana Barrand. They released an album, they had a minor hit with their debut single "'Battle Of The Sexes" which peaked at #53 on the UK Singles Chart in 1990. Failing to become successful, the band broke up and Behr went into television production. Note: some websites incorrectly confuse the discography of this group, with the US band Faith Hope & Charity, that recorded in the 1970s and sang on several Van McCoy recordings.
