Compañía Transatlántica Española
Compañía Transatlántica Española, S.A., also known as the Spanish Line in English, was a passenger ocean line that has largely ceased operations although it still exists as a company. It is popularly known as "La Trasatlántica" in the Spanish language.

Antonio López y López, 1st Marquess of Comillas, GE, was a Spanish businessman, slave trader and shipping magnate. He was the founder of a number of important companies, and one of the wealthiest men in the second half of the 19th century.
