Harar, known historically by the indigenous as Harar-Gey or simply Gey, is a walled city in eastern Ethiopia. It is also known in Arabic as the City of Saints.

The Argobba are an ethnic group inhabiting Ethiopia. They are a Muslim community, and they spread out through isolated village networks and towns in the north-eastern and eastern parts of the country.
