The Leeds and Selby Railway was an early British railway company and first mainline railway within Yorkshire. It was opened in 1834.

Selby railway station is a Grade II listed station which serves the market town of Selby in North Yorkshire, England. The original terminus station was opened in 1834 for the Leeds and Selby Railway.
