An agnihotra (above) is a fire sacrifice to external gods, a pranagnihotra is an equivalent to the gods in human body.
Dhyāna in Hinduism means meditation and contemplation. Dhyana is taken up in Yoga practices, and is a means to samadhi and the realization of purusha, the centerless self.
