Presidential Administration of Russia
The Presidential Executive Office of Russia or the Presidential Administration of Russia is the executive office of the President of Russia created by a decree of Boris Yeltsin on 19 July 1991 as an institution supporting the activity of the president and the vice-president of Russian SFSR, as well as deliberative bodies attached to the president, including the Security Council.
Part of the offices of the Presidential Executive Office are located in an Art Nouveau building at Moscow's 8 Staraya Square (next to the former seat of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union).
The president of the Russian Federation is the executive head of state of Russia. The president is the chair of the Federal State Council and the supreme commander-in-chief of the Russian Armed Forces. It is the highest office in Russia.
